self-version control
When I meet up with old friends, I find myself scared—what if I’m not the same person that I used to be, and that old person is the version of me that they liked? Do versions overwrite each other? Do they stack? I don’t know, but I know I need to be, in general, happy with the direction that my commits are going. I’m carrying all these versions with me—and if I’m happy with them, that’s all I can ask for.
